Diana was born in Sofia, Bulgaria of East European Dilomats. Early schooling was in Poland and later in Germany where she gained her PhD in Nuclear Physics. Diana is currently based in Berlin where she is employed in the area of Medical Communiction.
Her recent book, Healthywords, is based on her MSc Distinction in Pharmaceutical Information Management (School of Informatics, City University of London).
Her wide managerial experience in pharma, coupled with her recent research, has made it possible for Diana to contribute to a range of conferences and seminar programmes in the USA (DIA: Philadelphia, San Francisco), Europe (marcusevans, IIR, Informa: Cologne, Frankfurt/Main, Basel, Munich, Sofia, Mainz, Warsaw) and Russia (Moscow).
Despite her recent move to Berlin, Diana retains working relationships with colleagues at both the Mentorinnenetzwerk and the Max Planck Institute of Research, Biophysics, of the J.W. Goethe University of Frankfurt/Main. She was happy to talk on the subject of careers in the pharmaceutical industry as invited Guest Speaker on the latter’s October 2006 conference retreat in Dresden.
Most recent 2008 guest workshops on Medical Writing have taken place at the Charité, Humboldt University, Berlin.
Diana is professionally fluent in English, German, Russian and Bulgarian.
